Apefoo Warrior Training to Maximise Strength
Apefoo is a system designed to incoroporatate all the elements and components a warrior requires to be strong mentalitiy, phsyically and spiritually.
As a hard gainer, I follow an abbreviated strength training routine, where I focus on three fundamental exercises: The clean press, Dead lift and Chest Press, lasting no longer than about 15 minutes.
Focusing on big compound movements guarantee that the strength is applicable to my the training I pursue and way of life.
I use dumbells as they represent a larger challenge for my body as opposed to barbells and machines.
I train for strength and a weight of 80 KG represents a fairly good challenge for me.
I carry out strength training in the morning, a few hours before my martial arts training so that it does not interfere with my performance.
The Session this time around will focus on practicing all basic martial arts strikes as well mixing in some upper body strikes.
I will include some callisthenics work on the appartatus too which represents an excellent way to build substantial levels of core stregnth, directly applicable to my martial arts training.
The session lasts approximately an 90 Minutes where I will moving from warming up with the rope, practicing with the staff, free training, working the washing line, core work and then finishing off with some bag work.
I endeavour to improve my technique, strength and stamina everyday so please, feel free to criticize and provide me with some adivce and tips. I will be greatful.
